Hi everyone, David from TeamUp Labs here to give you an update on the new features our developers have been busy with over the last few months.
We've made some enhancements to our Example Mapping for Jira app. We've added check-able Rules. From the Jira issue view you can tick a checkbox to confirm a rule is complete. This can make it easy for your team to see progress and also keep them focused on how to complete the story. Checking rules makes your team's progress transparent.
You can also use checkboxes on Questions. Our expectation is that you'll check Questions when there is a satisfactory answer. Or the team decides the question is no longer a concern. This will be a useful reminder for teams when they're working on a story. Of course, feel free to use the tool however it works best for you and your team.
The final update I wanted to provide is that from October 1st you'll no longer be able to create or login to an account at teamuplabs.com. The great news is that there will still be a way to try out Example Mapping on the site. You'll be able to create an Example Map in the same way you do now, but you won't be able to save it to an account. Exporting will still be available. In the spirit of honesty, as a startup, we have to consider our strategy and our costs. For the moment, the better strategy is for our users to use Example Mapping inside Jira. We hope you agree.
So, that's the update for September 2019. We have a few more things coming down the pipeline soon that I'm excited to talk about once they're a little further along.
Thanks for reading. As always, you can get in touch with us @TeamUpLabs. Looking forward to hearing from you.
